한강 the river that runs through seoul is awesome. I took some pictures but really you have to be there. Excuse the terrible panoramic images, didn't really know how to put them together - but setting a fixed exposure might have helped.

It was a pretty Freezing day though. once across the river i walked along the bank which is probably the best thing you could ever do, and then found this really cool park - and everyone was roller-skating or playing basketball. Really nice place though
So it was pretty fun day.
Went to buy an apple from 'Family mart' and this was the smallest one haha:
Funnily enough after i took a bit of this 'apple' i came to the conclusion that it was not an apple. Its some mysterious new fruit. I'll have to find out what its called - maybe it is just an apple. a strange apple. definitely not like i've ever tasted before tho.
Today i went to hansung church with Ko, it was really fun, It was the english service so there was only about 15 people, but the band are great, all highschool students, and they love it because in Korea the concept of improvisation is foreign to them so you can just see that they love being able to play freely - at the same time they are still learning a lot because they practice regularly, and play it a bit like a Gig, but theyre great guys, talented and friendly.
The pastor was a bit funny. He said i was a proper christian because i was smiling and that he could tell when a person was a 'real' christian because gods joy is in their facial expression?!?! not sure if i totally agreed with that one, thought he might have just been making a greeting joke, but he was serious - apparently christians can't be sad or something. Anyway i was imressed that he managed to preach in english - but im not sure if many of the crowd understood him.
They all love julianne - so apparently they know you julianne - i certainly don't remember them - except for one girl who speaks perfect american. i told them that i play guitar so they made me perform in front of everyone which was a bit embarrassing having no idea what to play, and knowing full well that they are far more accomplished musicians than me. but maybe i will get involved in the worship, could be fun.
Taking the tube and bus to church was great because that induction has opened me up to the whole of Seoul - which i suddenly realised is massive, haha, so i may go on some larger ventures. It would be funner with someone, but everyone is studying hard for their final exams - so i'm pretty much guaranteed to be alone for another week at least.
Actually another funny thing i have found is that i am watching football. haha, i never really watched football in england - but everyone loves it so much here and they text me telling me when the matches are (usually midnight and stuff due to the time difference).
Im sure i had a thousand other things to say but i cant remember them... sorry.
Anyway back to school tomorrow - got to do my 숙제 (homework)
